JOHN ELEFANTE, FORMER LEAD SINGER OF KANSAS, IS COMING TO MURFREESBORO, TN


The Sogno Project is hosting their 2nd Annual Benefit Concert – FEATURING John Elefante, former lead singer of the band KANSAS and 4-Time Grammy Award Winner.  


Kick off your Labor Day Weekend with our concert on Friday, Sept 3rd, 2015 in Tucker Theater on MTSU Campus.  The show starts at 7pm, and seating begins at 5:30pm.  


The show will be hosted by Opening Act, Kelly Lee Culbreth, a graduate of MTSU and resident of Murfreesboro, TN. She will be joined on stage by Dew Pendleton, from The Big Bang Murfreesboro. These two will have a dueling piano presenation ready to touch your soulful side. 


John Elefante is a songwriter, performer, producer, and one of the best classic rock vocalists in America today.  As an artist, his credits include writing and singing lead vocals on three multi-platinum albums.  As a producer, his albums have earned numerous Dove Awards, 4 Grammy Awards and 10 Grammy nominations.  Elefante has produced and/or performed on more than 100 major label albums.


Elefante will be accompanied by super group, Sixwire, who can regularly be seen on ABC’s hit show ‘Nashville’.  Sixwire continues their run of success making appearances all over the world with their pop-country meets classic rock high-energy show, while also continuing to serve as back-up band to dozens of iconic musical stars. 


Local artists, Kelly LaMure and Beth Boudreaux, will be onstage painting during the show.  Their finished pieces of artwork will be signed by Elefante and then immediately sold after the show in a Silent Auction, along with a few other donated items.


After the show, there will be a VIP Meet & Greet After Party with John Elefante and Sixwire.
